The City has just notified us that some streets will be cleaned twice this month: once on the Permanent Sign schedule, another time on the brightly colored Temporary Sign schedule.
Move your car if you see this sign! or you’ll receive a ticket. The list of streets where this will occur appears below.
Permanent Street Cleaning Signs Installed – Take Precautions
If you live or park on a street with permanent street cleaning signs,
Check to see if your street has these signs installed.
it is very important to mark your calendar, day planner or input the dates into your phone’s calendar function to remind you when the street sweepers will be there.
While street cleaning on residential streets start at 9 AM, there are some commercial districts of the city where weekly street cleaning occurs from 7 Am to 9 AM.
Street cleaning season starts on April 1 and ends on November 30. It’s easy to remember –starts on April Fools Day, ends Thanksgiving.
East and west running streets will have permanent street cleaning “No Parking” signs in the near future.
